Ants and Micah Dalton

"You can hide, but you can't run!" (Joel said to Ants, our 3-legged cat, when they were wrestling.)

Tonight we went to the kick-off of a young adult group and saw Micah Dalton play. He's pretty good! We got a free cd because we signed up for the Mocha Club to help families in Sudan get mosquito nets to help prevent malaria. Not a bad deal!

Joel tied a cat toy around Ants's good leg. Ants fought for a while and then untied it! They are funny when they wrestle.
I wonder what it will be like when we have kids...

Finally finished!

I've been working on this rabbit for a little while and was so busy I didn't have time to finish it. But I finally did tonight while my husband was out having band practice. It turned out bigger than I thought it would be but I still like it. The pattern is from a book in Japanese.
Today was a good day. I had a few things to finish for school, and then we went to town to run some errands: some final things at school, Starbucks, and then the bank. All the while we were listening to The magician's Nephew radio theater in the car. When we got home we had to bring the cd inside to finish listening to it while we made sushi and ate dinner. We bought the cds to listen to when we drive to PA this summer for my sister's wedding.

Today is done, tomorrow is another one...

A blog?!

Wow- I can't believe I actually started a blog! I had many friends with xanga accounts back in the day and thought about joining, but never did. What inspired me to start this blog were all the craft blogs I've been finding and reading. I love getting ideas about crafting, cooking, crocheting, etc. from others and so I thought I'd start one too. And- school's out so I will hopefully have more time to craft and blog. I do have facebook and ravelry accounts but I can't blog there, so I started this. Well, here I go!
